Kodak Bantam f/8
A compact Bakelite snapshot camera with a single speed shutter, the square lens housing retracts flush with the body, a feature seen re-introduced many years later on the Instamatic S-10. This camera also has the little button by the film wind knob, seen on other Bantams of the era, which indexes the film as it is wound. With the lens retracted, the shutter cannot be operated.name | : Kodak Bantam f/8 | produced between | : 1938 - 1942 | lens | : Kodalinear f/8 40mm | shutter | : Single Speed | film type | : 828 | picture size | : 28 x 40 mm | original list price (USD) | : 4.75 - 29/6 | categories | : 828 |
