Kodak Retina I (148)
Very similar to the immediate post-war Retinas, this model was one of the last of the pre-war Retinas from Kodak AG. The only significant visual difference of this model to it's immediate successors seems to be the smaller focussing knob and the milled edge to the focussing ring, shown in the detail below. These cameras have a body shutter release and a depth of field calculator on the base. On this particular camera, which is fitted with a 5cm Ektar lens in a Compur-Rapid shutter, this is in English and scaled in feet.name | : Kodak Retina I (148) | produced from | : 1939 | lens | : Various f/3.5 50mm | shutter | : Various | film type | : 135 | picture size | : 24 x 36 mm | quantity made | : 14,957 | categories | : 35 mm, retina |
