Kodak Retinette I (030)
One of a range of similar cameras that ran from the mid '50s to the late '60s, this was one of the first to feature a brightline viewfinder. Some cameras, badged Retinette f, also known as "Model 030/7", were also finished in France with locally made lenses and shutters, as shown in the detail below below. Unlike it's German-made counterparts, this camera takes a 34mm push-on filter. Unfortunately this example has the Retinette f badge missing.| name | : Kodak Retinette I (030) | | produced between | : 1958 - 1960 | | lens | : Reomar f/3.5 45mm | | shutter | : Compur-Rapid | | film type | : 135 | | picture size | : 24 x 36 mm | | quantity made | : 118,000 | | categories | : 35 mm, retinette |
