Kodak Automatic 35
The automatic exposure feature on this camera appears to control the aperture, the shutter having been preset at either 1/40 or 1/80. The lens focusses down to 2.5ft and flash is via the Pin & Screw contacts. Film wind is by a Retina-like camera-base lever, rewind being accomplished by the rather undersize knob on the top plate. Facility is available on the camera back for the use of exposure guide reminders, which seems a little superfluous on an automatic camera. An interesting feature, the knurled front ring on the lens is a supplied "Series V" retaining ring. With this unscrewed, any "Series V" accessory lens or filter can be fitted without further adaptors.| name | : Kodak Automatic 35 | | produced between | : 1959 - 1964 | | lens | : Ektanar f/2.8 44mm | | shutter | : Synchro 80 | | film type | : 135 | | picture size | : 24 x 36 mm | | original list price (USD) | : 84.50 | | categories | : 35 mm |
