Kodak Motormatic 35

Although at first glance this might seem to be a typical 35mm viewfinder camera from the early '60s, closer inspection reveals a few unusual features. A coupled selenium lightmeter controls the aperture of the 44mm f/2.8 Ektanar lens and the film is advanced by a clockwork motor, though it still needs to rewound manually. The lens has three preset positions throughout its focussing range, these show in the viewfinder as "CLOSE", "GROUP" or "SCENE". Flash is provided by "Pin & Screw" contacts on the left-hand end and there is facility on the back cover for the plastic slide-in film reminders as found on some Pony cameras. An interesting feature, the knurled front ring on the lens is a supplied "Series V" retaining ring. With this unscrewed, any "Series V" accessory lens or filter can be fitted without further adaptors.
